Personal piece, both done as a homage to my favorite vulture and beetle, and as an avenue to experiment with some new materials. I actually finished this piece twice! Death is certainly one of the most terrifying unknowns. Yet personally, I take comfort in knowing that the matter my body is made from will take another form. Many turn away from the animals, plants, and fungi that break down dead matter, but to me they hold a special spot. Featured here is the Cinereous Vulture, Dermestid Beetle, and my favorite fungi, shroomies! Through death, new life may emerge.

Limited Edition Hand Embellished Prints:
$45 each for limited edition prints.
Only three prints will be made as an experiment with adding gold foil by hand. I painted this piece specifically for this experiment, so with gold foil is the way this piece is meant to be viewed! Prints #1&2 are printed on luster paper with a gold foil added by hand. Print #3 is printed on matte with rose gold foil added by hand. All prints are numbered by hand. Each one is definitely a unique print with its own personality, due to the nature of being done by hand! Please see the above photos for pictures of each of the prints.

$20 each for open edition metallic gloss paper prints.
A new paper type that I've been experimenting with! This paper mimics the glow and vibrancy of metal prints.

$15 each for open edition matte prints.
These are vibrant prints, done on archival grade photo paper. The surface is non-reflective, ideal for showcasing details in the art.

Size and Package:
-All are 8.5 x 11 inches.
-Each print is done on a high quality ink printer and paper, and come in a protective clear bag with a pH neutral hard back which has the title of the piece on the back. That way, even if you don't get around to mat or frame, you can be sure it will look good and be protected!

Care Tips:
Store either within the clear bag or behind glass, and try to keep dust/smoke/sunlight/hands off of the print. I do my best to use paper, ink, and material which is as archivable as possible. Most of my paper is made by a company whose manufacturing facility is in the US, and focused on quality. Prints are made on a high quality Canon photo printer.
