Drink the Sun - ORIGINAL

An original ink, gold pen, and marker illustration. A piece inspired by a giant beetle, Goliathus orientalis. Obviously, this isn’t the -exact- species, I’ve been seeing beetles a lot during my meditations mixed with gorgeous rainbow colors, and during those meditations everything just flows together in flowing shapes. This is my attempt to capture that feeling of warm, flowing goodness, while being a specific subject matter. It’s something I’d love to explore more! Although this one is a deeply personal piece, I also get the sense that it’s meant to go out into the world at some point.

This is the ORIGINAL illustration, not a print, so it is truly unique! At a certain angle the light hits the gold, and shines beautifully! It is packed in a protective plastic slip and the backing is archivable quality mat board, just in case the new owner doesn’t want to frame it, it will be safe and sound to display and keep in this packaging.
