The Sun’s Path - Framed Original Painting

This piece is based on the tarot card “The Sun”, and inspired by my personal meditations. Big fluffy orange cats, for example, have a connection to the Sun and courage for me. I also tied some more classical symbolism into this, as I learned it in my own tradition. Sun cat teaches that it's OK to be you, so hold your head high sunshine!

It was featured in a show called “Arcana: Painting the Fates” at the CO local Valkarie Gallery. A bunch of artists came together to offer up their artist interpretations of the tarot symbolism. It was an honor to have this piece hanging with such talent!

This was my first time using REAL gold leaf, which was a delightful experience. I just love how it shines! This piece is meant to be viewed in person, plus with it being a rare traditional painting from me, I will likely only be offering the original.
